Working together
From the first conversation to a useful handover. Here’s how a project takes shape.
Discuss your project ↗Tell me where you are starting.
Tell me what runs today, where it runs and what you want to change. A deployment problem, a move to another host or a server rebuild are all useful starting points. Keep passwords and access tokens out of the enquiry form.
Decide what the work needs to do.
We discuss the result you need, the current setup and any real deadline. I’ll put together a scope covering the work, price, responsibilities and timing. New ideas can be discussed without quietly turning the project into something else.
Review the important steps.
We agree changes before they are applied, including downtime, backups and rollback where relevant. For migrations and releases, the plan includes checks before and after the change, not just the command that starts it.
Leave a setup you can use.
The handover explains the environment, the release process and who looks after each part. Server management can be agreed separately. These are scheduled freelance services, not a core-hours helpdesk or a promise of round-the-clock response.
